THE LADY KILLERS
Step into a world of British wit and classic charm with The Ladykillers!
Mrs. Wilberforce, a sweet but sharp retired lady, outsmarts a gang of bumbling criminals who pose as classical musicians looking for temporary board while they plan a bank robbery. Even the brilliant and charming Professor Marcus struggles to keep his gang of blockheads under control. Everything starts to fall to pieces after the ensemble have to perform to a gathering of Mrs Wilberforce's friends. A hugely entertaining and polished performance. Written by Graeme Linehan, and directed by Michelle Cliff.
Michael Jones wrote The Unbelievable story of the Naming of the Kiwifruit which was performed at the event. .

A dedicated team from the Te Puke Repertory brought Michael Jones skit alive
Director, Owen Force, created a charcuterie of some of Shakespeare's most famous excerpts and some of the less known pieces and cleverly presented them.
Cast played a number of different roles covering all of the emotions from tragedy to humour with very few props and minimal wardrobe.

An hilarious look at life on the farm with Wal and Aunt Dolly and all the farm animals you would expect. Trials and tribulations would not be complete without a tortured love story or stories in this case. Audiences loved this Kiwi tale and every show was sold out well before the season started.
KILLER BOOBS
A breast cancer support group meets monthly in a small town community hall. They find that there is a potentially life-saving drug available but it's hugely expensive and is not funded. Must they resort to underhand tactics when they meet with the top Pharmac official? On top of all this, the women take on a controversial town planning project.
Vicar of Dibley based on the much loved Television Series was an enormous success but had it's share of extra drama. After 3 shows many of the cast and crew came down with Covid and the remaining shows had to be postponed until January 2023. In that time one of the cast members had to be re-cast because of health issues but the show went on seemlessly. Michelle Malcolm, once again pulled out all the stops.

SIMPLY SHORT PLAY FESTIVAL
A celebration of original works. 15 plays were submitted from as far as USA, Australia, Wellington and of course BOP. New directors and actors were able to make their debut. 8 plays were presented to the delight of the audience. March 2018
